Professional Supervision for Social Workers
Supervision grounded in current NDIS practice, from an AASW Accredited Social Worker.
Good supervision does two things. It keeps your practice safe, protects your client and it makes you better at the work. If your caseload touches the NDIS, your supervisor should know the Scheme well.
Supervision grounded in current NDIS practice, from an AASW Accredited Social Worker.
I am a Registered NDIS Provider and a practising social worker. I write psychosocial assessments, Needs Assessments, literacy assessments and plan reassessment submissions. I work with the reasonable and necessary criteria under section 34 of the NDIS Act, the current pricing arrangements and the support catalogue every week, alongside support coordinators across the country.
Bring a stuck report, a plan refusal or an ethical grey area to supervision and we will work it through against the actual framework.
Trained to supervise
I completed the AASW’s Introduction to Best Practice for Supervision, the Association’s training in creating a safe, reflective space that supports professional growth. I hold a Master of Social Work and I am a Registered Social Worker, an AASW Accredited Social Worker and AASW member 678556.
Supervision with an experienced social worker counts toward the Category 1 supervision hours in your AASW continuing professional development requirements. You will receive a written supervision agreement and a record of hours for your CPD portfolio.
My practice also includes more than thirty years as a NAATI Certified Interpreter (Auslan), so supervisees working with Deaf clients or on communication access are well supported.
